Obituary for Maxie Aiken Chapman

Brevard - Maxie Aiken Chapman, 90, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014.
A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Mitch and Levia Aiken and was the wife of the late J. D. Chapman. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Quintin, Ola, Denton, Welch, W.C., Lola, Carl, Edna, Charles and Roxie.
Surviving are her daughters, Margie Crowe and husband Michael of Rosman, and Carolyn Norton of Pickens, SC; grandchildren, Jimmy Crowe of Rosman, Angel Crump and husband Joey of Pickens, and Pam Holcombe and husband Ralph of Walhalla, SC; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Zack, Jarrad, Seth, and Jacob.
The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Bruner officiating. Burial will be in Middle Fork Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
