Patsy “Memaw” Galloway, age 64, of Brevard, moved on to a better place, August 10, 2009. She was the son of the late, Ernest and Connie Gosnell. She was also preceded in death by a brother Mike Gosnell and sister Sandy Gosnell. She is survived by her two daughters Lisa Birchfield and husband Michael of Brevard and Charlene Birchfield and Mark from Horse Shoe, NC. Two brothers Charles Gosnell of Pisgah Forest, NC and Skip Gosnell from FL and one sister Carol Jean McCall of Balsam Grove, NC. She is also survived by five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home at 2 pm, on Friday, August 14, 2009 with Rev. Paul Raines and Rev. Mark Birchfield officiating. Moody-Connolly Funeral Home of Brevard is assisting the family.
