David, I am so sorry to hear of Roberta's passing. I remember her as being very sweet, loving and pleasant to be around. To know her was to love her. I met her several years ago when i was visiting with my mother(Virgie) who lived in Pisgah Forest. You and Roberta came by for a visit and we all had a very nice evening, laughing, talking, eating and just enjoying the evening together. Roberta and I got lots of laughs listening to you and my mother reminisce about the times when you worked together at American Thread. My mother loved you both dearly and mentioned you often and thank you for loving her back.I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. With loving memories, Marilyn Galloway

David,
Our thoughts are with you at this sad time. Remembering Roberta since way back when we lived in the same apartment building on Caldwell Street, going to church with her for a few years and seeing her smiling face at Walmart and Pisgah Fish Camp. Roberta was a most pleasant person and God was shining through her personality even when she was going through some very tough times. Take care of yourself and hope we can be out and about before long and see you around.
