Obituary for Zella Ann Galloway (McCall)
Zella Ann McCall Galloway, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Hendersonville Health and Rehabilition.
A native of Transylvania County, she was born on December 30, 1923 to the late Loonie and Dora McCall. She was preceded in death by her husband Creed Galloway, one son, Paul Galloway, three brothers, Herbert L. McCall, Roland W. McCall and Eugene McCall, and four infant siblings.
Mrs. Galloway lived in Locust Grove, GA for the past 40 years however, she called the mountains of Balsam Grove her home. She was an avid gardener and also enjoyed cooking. She was always devoted to her family. Mrs. Galloway was a member of Grace Baptist Church in McDonough, GA.
Survivors include one brother, Hoyt E. McCall of Easley, SC and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 3pm, Saturday, August 25, 2018 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Life Celebrations with the Revs. Buster McCall and Randy Bussell officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2846 Tanasee Gap Road, Balsam Grove, NC 28708.
