Condolence: When I was growing up I went to church with Bill, Lola and all their children. After Lee Roy and I married, we bought a small farm that was within 1/2 mile of Bill's home in Pisgah Forest. He and Lola were always played a special part in my life and will be deeply missed. I can't express how much I enjoyed visiting Lola and Bill's home when I was a teenager or how I loved looking at Bill's Christmas decorations every year at Pisgah Forest. I don't think any man enjoyed Christmas any more than he did. Bill's parents, Hansel and Mary, were the closest friends that my mother had. When she had a spiritual problem she always turned to them for prayer and guidance. As long as I live I will carry with me the deep respect and love that I have for this whole family. They are truly special people.

Condolence: Just wanted all of you to know that I am thinking of you in a very special way. I can't
Help but rejoice in the fact that Bob and Bill have had such a wonderful time praising the Lord and meeting the rest of the family that is already in Heaven. There is no doubt in my mind that Bob and Bill are definitely there in Heaven waiting on some more of us to join them. No more sufferying, no pain, and brand new and perfect bodies. I love each one of you and wish I could be there to celebrate Bill's life with you. My prayer is that God's grace will pour out abundantly on you. God bless!

Condolence: Prior to joining the N.C. Highway Patrol I worked at Olin with Bill and spent many enjoyable days rabbit hunting with him and Oscar Harbin Sr. Bill was a great fellow to spend time with. He was always very honest and direct in his dealings with others. I spent many hours in conversations with him. Bill was a super person. My very sincere condolences to all of his family. I know you have many wonderful memories of him. M. Brock.
