Moody-Connolly Funeral Home and Crematory

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Brenda Pierson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Co-worker and Friend!

I first met Brenda when she came to work at Cardinal cleaners. She was a ball of energy and when she told me how old she was, I thought I want to be like her when I grow up! I was going thru a very difficult time with my boyfriend at the time. She was a shoulder to cry on with my daily sagas of what I was going thru. I could ALWAYS count on her when I could cont on no one else. Our 7am morning talks before opening the store, watching both my sons grow up and graduate from High school. Her love of  Harry, Jonlyn, and her Grandchildren and her Great Granddaughter was something to behold! She was there for me when I lost my Brother to cancer in Oct 2013,having lost her own Sister the yr before. She was a great source of comfort. The three days that I was in Raleigh and the day of the funeral, she called and checked on me those three days. Called the day of his funeral which also happened to be my birthday to wish me well. I could go on for days about how amazing and what a great person she was. But if you know her, then you know this already! She was loved by many, and she will be greatly missed. They don't make em like her any more. I don't thnk there will be another like her anyway. She was many things to many people and I will never forget her! Until I see you again.......
