Margaret DeBord Hall

Brevard – Margaret DeBord Hall, 84, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015.

She was the daughter of the late Horace W. and Nina Wilson DeBord. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Hall, daughter, Pam Justus and two brothers , Buzz and Robert DeBord.

Margaret received a B.S. degree in Nursing from Emory University. She attended Brevard College for two years and taught nursing at Mission Hospital School of Nursing. She was a member of the Eastern Star for more than 60 years and a member of the American Association of Industrial Nurses. She attended Etowah Methodist Church.

Surviving are her son, William H. Hall, Jr and wife Wanda of Etowah; daughter, Nancy Peace and husband Terry of Flagler Beach, FL; brother, Eddie Debord of Raleigh; ten grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren and a very special niece, Debbie DeBord of Brevard.

Funeral services will be held 1pm, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Peace officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Etowah Lions Club, 35 Ridgeway Ave, Etowah, NC 28729.
